Best Podcast for Kids: Melon’s House Party
I’m a huge fan of podcasts because I can listen as I go- walking, driving, cleaning…any time and place. But, have you discovered that podcasts can ALSO be for kids? @WonderyMedia has several great family friendly podcasts options. It’s one of my #momhacks because it’s as entertaining as a movie, but it limits screen time while fueling creativity as we imagine the story being played.
My toddlers’ favorite podcast right now is from @WonderyKids Melon’s House Party. Melon, who is a cute 8-pound puppy shares how the objects in her house sing and speak all day long, but they just do it in a key only dogs can hear. From the record player, and computer, to the bookshelf & Melon’s best friend Couch, they go on musical adventures all centered around family and friendship.
The show’s catchy original music captivates my girls’ attention, which is such a lifesaver during long car rides or quiet time at home.
