SKIP HOP ANIMAL BACKPACK REVIEW

We explored Northern California's Trinidad trails (such stunning views!) and we are so grateful we just bought a toddler safety harness (which has a detachable child leash) that helped Brynlee walk the trails without taking any bad falls or tumbles.

Brynlee wants to walk EVERYWHERE by herself these days, but going on trails (especially hiking steep trails up mountains) makes me a little nervous. I thought child leashes were a little silly at first, but after trying it, ah every mom needs one of these! I love how the Skip Hop is not just a "child leash" but also a backpack with a fun zoo animal on it.

We can put Brynlee's snacks and water bottle in her own backpack. AND this was especially helpful going downhill (because Brynlee was going way too fast and she would have face planted a few times if Jared didn't catch her on the harness).

We also checked out some nearby beach called Luffenholtz Beach Park, Houda Point Beach, and Camel Rock. SO MUCH BEAUTY!
