the LATEST & GREATEST

"THE HUSBAND PROJECT" Book by Kathi Lipp

Just had a baby? And now trying to navigate how to be an exceptional mother AND an exceptional wife?! ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ A new baby is pretty demanding and with all of the postpartum crazies with new responsibilities, sleep deprivation, and wacky hormones...marriage can get hard and may require some extra work and new ideas to strengthen your relationship with your spouse. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I’ve read a few marriage books that had some really great key insights, but my favorite is called, “The Husband Project,” by Kathi Lipp. I recently just finished it and ah, it honestly has changed my marriage. ⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣⁣ It’s an easy read that sets up 21 actionable projects in serving your husband for 21 days. (It’s also designed to do the project with your girlfriends and having each other as accountability partners!)⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ It’s so easy to play the “it’s not fair” card and think well...why am I the one who has to do all these things to serve my husband while he isn’t doing them back....but the beauty of it is this: You love those you serve and you also love who serves you. (And spoiler alert...the service does get returned back to you! ❤️)

The author talks about how when she is cold, she will snuggle up to her husband to keep him warm...but really it is keeping her warm too. It is a blessing for both of you. The author also says how “The Husband Project is as much about changing OUR attitudes as it is about blessing our husbands.” I’ve realized how much our thoughts play into our emotions and attitudes...and so if we want to change something, the easiest and quickest way to change things...is to change our thoughts about it. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Whether you are newly married, just had a baby, been married for 10 years...or 50 years...I can promise you that you will learn something from this book! I have the link to it in my bio and stories if you want to check it out! 💕⁣⁣⁣ ⁣
