McWay Falls Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park Big Sur California | We loved taking our DJI Mavic Pro drone to Big Sur to get some closer views of all the beauty! One of our favorite spots was at Julia Pfeiffer Burns because of McWay Falls. McWay Falls is an 80-foot-tall waterfall on the coast of Big Sur. It is one of only two waterfalls in California where the waterfall empties directly into the ocean. (The other waterfall is Alamere Falls). It is on our lists of best things to do in Big Sur!
