Helena | Pools of Paradise

We kicked off our summer adventures by enjoying our evening with friends at this beautiful swimming hole located on the North Fork of the Trinity River. Last summer, there was a huge wildfire that broke out right next to Helena that burned more than 21,000 acres and destroyed 72 homes & 123 buildings. It was so crazy!! Thankfully, Helena was spared from any permanent damages and is still a gorgeous, family-friendly, piece of paradise. Last summer here, temperatures were high 90s-over 100 for weeks.....it was HOT!!! We will definitely be coming back here to stay cool this summer. Where is your summer go to spot to escape the heat?!
